How to add subtitles to a video using Captions on Riverside
- Log in to your Riverside account.
- Open a recording in the editor or upload an external file for editing.
- In the toolbar on the right, click the Captions icon.
- In the Captions panel, select one of the style presets.
- Click the caption text on the video canvas to customize:
- Typeface
- Text size
- Animation style
- Colors
- Capitalization
- Line control
- Characters per line
- Alignment
- Drag the captions to reposition them on the video.
- In the top right corner, click Export to export the video with the captions overlaid.
The captions are created based on your recording’s transcript.
