What is frame rate?
Frame rate refers to the number of individual frames (images) displayed per second in a video. It’s measured in frames per second (FPS).
The higher the frame rate, the smoother the video appears, especially in fast-moving scenes.
What frame rate should I use?
24 FPS is the standard for movies, 30 FPS is used in TV broadcasts, and 60 FPS is typically used for gaming and high-definition videos to achieve smoother motion.

Which is better: 30 FPS or 60 FPS?
60 FPS is smoother and better for fast-moving scenes and high-definition videos, while 30 FPS is sufficient for most videos you’ll see online and on television.
Is 120 FPS good?
Yes, 120 FPS means ultra-smooth motion, ideal for getting the most out of slow-motion shots and fast-paced action scenes.
Is 1080p 60 FPS good or 4K 30 FPS?
4K 30 FPS offers higher resolution, while 1080p 60 FPS provides smoother motion. Choose the FPS based on whether you prioritize resolution or smoothness of motion.
Why is 60 FPS darker than 30 FPS?
60 FPS appears darker because it has a faster shutter speed, meaning less light hits the sensor than 30 FPS.
