The last thing I’ve added to my setup:
My studio is pretty complete as it is, so any big changes tend to be upgrades when needed. The most recent change was upgrading to a Canon R5c from the Canon R8. This allows me to record in 4k without time limits or overheating.
My biggest learning:
The three keys to good sounding recordings for anyone not recording in a studio-quality space:
- Choose a dynamic mic
- Position it 2-3" from your mouth
- Treat your acoustics as much as you can. Every little bit helps
Why I started:
I started creating content to share what I've learned over the years to help others create better sounding content.
